Paper Tree Decorations

DIY Christmas Tree Ornaments I am a sans-pack-rat almost to a fault, so after my typical move/purge this last year I found myself without one holiday decoration! Well then. . . this year is the year to explore this idea I had of creating my tree decor from nothing but paper, all to coordinate with the yellow and gray color scheme of my new home. You may recognize the snowflakes from an earlier DIY post. I also printed the DIY paper bow from last weeks post and used it as a template on for these two-sided designs. I then recycled all my scraps by using a round circle punch and sewing them one at a time to make this garland. (I will be doing a tutorial on this technique soon). I love my paper decorated tree and look forward to adding new ideas to these holiday decorations for the next few years. Cheers! Lia

  1. Saw the picture of the garland and said hey wait a minute, they didn’t show us how to make that yet! Lol … can’t wait for that post! Used your snowflakes for a recent Christmas party and they were a hit! Going to use some of the bows for presents, hoping to make those tomorrow night. Thanks for all the great ideas! Your tree came out fabulous!
